What is this Test Report?

This document is an official radiocarbon (C14) test report issued by Beta Analytic Testing Laboratory, an ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited facility. It evaluates the percentage of biobased carbon in the CXP material according to the ASTM D6866-20 standard. The test determines the ratio of carbon derived from natural plant or biomass sources versus synthetic fossil-based sources.

1. 23% Biobased Carbon Content

The analytical results officially confirm that CXP (Cellulose X-Linked Polymer) contains a 23% biobased carbon content as a fraction of total organic carbon. This indicates that 23% of the carbon in the material is sourced from natural plants or animal by-products, while the remaining 77% is from fossil carbon sources.

2. Internationally Recognized ASTM D6866-20 Standard

The analysis was conducted using the internationally recognized ASTM D6866-20 Method B (AMS) standard. This highly precise radiocarbon methodology provides objective and globally trusted proof of the material's biobased composition, replacing obscure units of measure with standardized, regulatory-compliant scientific measurements.

3. Verified Quality and Accuracy

The report includes a Quality Assurance evaluation where known-value reference materials were analyzed quasi-simultaneously with the sample. All QA measurements successfully passed the acceptance tests within 2 sigma agreement, guaranteeing the strict accuracy and reliability of this 23% biobased carbon verification.
